TECHNOLOGY.
Attorney Ashe Lockhart has considerable experience and proficiency
with technologies used in law practice and business, including:

Websites. Ashe developed
and maintained the first website for the North Carolina State
Bar’s Lawyers Assistance Program and assisted with the
development and support of the first website for the Mecklenburg
County Bar. He was the chairman of a Mecklenburg County Bar
committee that oversaw the development of its current website.
He developed and maintains the current websites for
LockhartHornby.com, the firm’s new blog (UnCommon Sense), and
AsheLockhart.com. He also developed and maintained the website
for Lockhart Hornby’s predecessor firm (The Business Law
Advisors, “TBLA”).

Email. Ashe
implemented and maintains Microsoft Exchange email systems for Lockhart Hornby and AsheLockhart.com, as well as for TBLA.

Blackberry. Ashe
implemented and maintains BlackBerry Enterprise Server services
for Lockhart Hornby.

Mobile Computing. Ashe was
the chairman of Womble Carlyle’s Mobile Computing Committee (VPN,
remote access and handheld devices) and was a member of Womble
Carlyle’s Strategic Technology Services Committee.

Time/Billing/Accounting. Ashe managed the reorganization and restructuring of TBLA’s
time, billing and accounting systems. This intensive process
required that the firm retain the services of an accounting firm
and resulted in a complete revision of the firm’s accounting
systems and financial processes.

Document Management. Ashe
devised TBLA’s first file-based, client-server document storage
system and implemented a global search utility. More recently,
he researched structured database document management systems
that are customarily used by law firms and implemented and
maintains a new DMS system for the firm.
